The 580 is one of the most distinctive models in New Balance's history, and not just because of its Rollbar-equipped design and its corpulence. Originally a confused local adaptation of the 585, the 580 started turning heads as a trend accessory on the streets of Harajuku. When they served as the canvas for some of the first ever collaborative releases, the 580 became legendary. The new reissue of the 580 brings an icon back to life. The modernised look of a thinner toecap and lower shaft combines with a new material interaction that features an all-suede upper with mesh lining in the shaft.
